Looking for Volunteering Opportunities?
No experience – no problem! Each and every volunteer brings new vitality and strength and becomes part of the Merrimack Valley Habitat family. Experience is not necessary. We offer individuals and groups including corporate groups, schools, and faith-based organizations a wonderful way to build homes and build camaraderie. If you are looking for local volunteering opportunities to do some community service, acquire new skills or put existing building skills to work, we welcome you to volunteer with Merrimack Valley Habitat and experience the joy of seeing a new family move into their home as a result of your contributions.

We build every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday all year 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Come every week or whenever your schedule allows. We welcome and appreciate your willingness to volunteer and your involvement!
Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com to reserve a date and get the process going for your group. A donation is encouraged to offset the costs of supervision during a group build.
My regular crews love building with MVHFH. They like the neighborhood, the hands on nature of the work and the camaraderie with the site supervisors.
Member of Temple Shir Tikvah in Winchester, MA. A loyal group of volunteers and also a group who Adopted a Unit.
Join our Thursday Regular Crew!
Do you know someone who is retired, between jobs or maybe a student on break?
Every Thursday, a dozen or so regular volunteers gather to build with us. We start the day by splitting into small groups and matching the day’s projects with experience. Don’t worry, it’s not all work—we do break for lunch. Bring your own lunch or order out. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to pick up some “tricks of the trade” from some of our more experienced volunteers.
